ESCROW PAYMENTS

Indo Projects provides users with escrow payment options to help projects get completed smoothly. Project Managers can set aside a specific amount of money into an escrow account on Indo Projects, for a specific Freelancer. Both users can then view the payment in the escrow account, but only the Project Manager can complete the payment, from the escrow account to the Freelancer. The Freelancer is the only person (other than Indo Projects staff) who can cancel this escrow payment. This gives each party half of the control over the money in the escrow account.

If the project gets completed, the Project Manager can transfer the money from the escrow account to the Freelancer. If the project is cancelled amicably, the Freelancer can cancel the escrow payment and the money will return to the Project Manager's account. If there are any disputes over a project, Indo Projects staff must be contacted before any money can be moved from the escrow account.

Indo Projects encourages its users to send and receive money with the escrow system, because it's another great way to make sure everyone gets what they want from a project.

To manage your escrow payments, login to your account. The escrow menu is underneath the project list.

ESCROW PAYMENTS EXAMPLE

Project Managers with username (Big Company) choose Freelancer with username (Soft-House), where Soft-House bid for Rp.10.000.000,- .Before Soft-House accept election to work on Big Company project, Soft-House ask Big Company to pay him with Escrow payments System. After Big Company agreed it and Soft-House agreed too, Soft-House can begin their work and Big Company can do an Escrow Payments for Rp.10.000.000,- in Indo Projects. Indo Projects is like 3rd party who hold the payment, both can see the Escrow Payment made by Big Company.

At this time , Big Company can't cancel the Escrow Payment. Big Company just can release the payment to Soft-House. And Soft-House can't relese Escrow Payment to their account too, Soft-House just can cancel the payment if the project is being cancelled.

After Soft-House finish their work from Big Company, then Big Company can release the payment from Escrow Payment to the Soft-House account.
